I am so excited to have classes and privates going on at our Pilates in Holland outdoor studio! I love seeing old friends and meeting new neighbors who stop by to find out what’s going on. But I also love seeing the “Pilates club” of regulars in online mat classes. And we really do see each other. Last week. I called out a few people who weren’t following directions (they let me know their pleasure or displeasure via grimaces or hand signals!) I also love seeing pets and kids join in on the classes. It’s a great way to get some physical fitness at home!
Life is getting busier after months of a slower quarantine pace. School is beginning again, whether in-person or online. More businesses are returning to work in the office. Vestiges of old fall patterns are beginning to seep into our lives. Sure, it may not be as busy as pre-pandemic times, but it’s just as important to prioritize your health and set aside time for self-care. Your mental health will also benefit: even 20 minutes of physical activity can drastically improve your mood, mindset, and overall well-being. (And what could be more important right now!)
It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or know your way around a Reformer, a senior or a student at home taking classes online…Pilates in Holland has a class for you!
We are currently offering online classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9 am (with more options coming in November). And if you can’t make it at that time, you still get the recording to do it at a time that works for you. Outdoor Reformer classes and privates will continue through October, as will Pilates Around the Porch. If you want a private session from the comfort of your own home, we also have private Zoom classes, with all the needed equipment dropped off to you.
Studies show it is helpful to schedule your classes in advance so it’s built into your week ahead. And taking classes where a teacher is expecting you helps keep you accountable. 😉 So email me now to get in on the action!
