On Our Best Behavior by Elise Loehnen explores how societal expectations and the Seven Deadly Sins (pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth) impact women’s lives, often leading to self-denial and limiting their potential. The book examines how these concepts, rooted in patriarchal structures, have shaped women’s behavior and how breaking free from these restrictive norms can lead to greater self-acceptance and autonomy.
